What’s the difference between My Energy Optimizer and eco+?

If you have an ecobee thermostat, My Energy Optimizer will work with the eco+ Community Energy Savings function on your thermostat to keep your home comfortable while shifting your energy use during Peak Events. When you first sign up for My Energy Optimizer, you'll use the ecobee app to sign up through eco+. After you create your thermostat schedule, My Energy Optimizer will work together with eco+ to learn your preferences and keep you comfortable during Peak Events.
